I'd like to see some sort of flying monsters... without the standard land and attack philosophy. Maybe like a large eagle that can cast chain lightning (oh... a thunderbird) and you could only get them with bows or spells, and have slow down spells like Inspired Burden make then drop to the floor.

eh, no?
they really don't feel like monkeys to me, more like essences of dark evil matter....which is pretty cool, but not a monkey.

Baboons can be a nasty bunch as well.

You are correct, we need better jungle mobs.

Lions Arch has statues of Lions, yet have you seen a Lion wandering around?

hmmm someone like final fanasty
but I do like the idea of having more varity of pets.

espically aggre about making the same attacks skills do *diffrenet* animations based on the pet but still be the same for all skill purpose's to maintain balance. You can quest after those really cool pets with "killer" looking moves but have the same effectivness just like the 15k armor's look vs functionality.

Monkeys, gorrilas, baboons, and thunderbirds shouldn't come until they've expanded the jungle.

The jungle itself needs to be bigger to accomodate more monster variety IMO.
